About the Class
Our best selling class, the Taste of Blacksmithing is a one-day introduction to this ancient craft. Work at your own forging station and learn all the basics from two master smiths. You will take home a useful household tool, made with your own hands!
Schedule
10am - 11pm: History of blacksmithing, learning the equipment, basic safety, and initial demonstration.
11am - 1pm: Start forging! Materials handed out, stations assigned, and fires lit.
1pm - 2pm: Lunch Break
2pm - 4pm: Additional forging, demonstrations, and project completion.

Lunch is not provided. Please pack a lunch or enjoy a delicious sandwich from Pine Hill Orchards.

If you have a blacksmiths hammer you've been wanting to try, bring it along! Otherwise, all you need for the class will be provided.

For children under 18, parental permission may need to be obtained.
Rescheduling Policy
Class deposits are non-refundable. However, if you notify us two weeks in advance of the class that you would like to move your spot to a later class, we will do so at no charge. Within that two week mark, there will be a fee equal to 50% of the overall course price in order to reschedule.
